Processing fee

For each incoming deposit, a fee will be subtracted from your account. The fees are listed on the Fees tab in your merchant dashboard, under the Deposit operations section. The exact fee may depend on the currency and on whether the payment involved a conversion between different currencies. Some fees may have a minimum amount that you will pay even for small transactions. The applicable fees are:
  • Deposit crypto
  • Deposit crypto exchange to crypto
  • Deposit crypto exchange to fiat
  • Crypto Bankroll top up (for deposits on merchant top-up addresses)
When a deposit is being processed off-chain, the system uses the fees with “internal” in the name:
  • Deposit crypto internal
  • Deposit crypto exchange to crypto internal
  • Deposit crypto exchange to fiat internal
  • Crypto Bankroll top up internal

Transfer fee for Ethereum

When receiving ETH funds or ERC-20 tokens, a transfer fee is subtracted from the merchant’s balance, in addition to the processing fee. The transfer fee covers the cost of gas in the Ethereum network. The transfer fee amount depends on the current gas price when the deposit is being processed. It is subtracted in the same currency as the deposit itself: for example, the transfer fee for a USDC deposit will be in USDC. You can see this fee as Fee transfer in a deposit’s detais panel.

Minimum deposit fee for Bitcoin

When working with the BTC blockchain, the merchant never pays mining fees directly. Instead, CryptoProcessing reflects any fee volatility in the minimum deposit fee. It only affects smaller transactions, and it never changes more than one time per week. Every Monday, we check the average mining fee in the BTC network for the previous week, beginning and ending at 00:00 UTC on Monday. You can observe this value in public BTC blockchain explorers, for example, on the Blockchain.com’s Fees Per Transaction graph. The average mining fee determines the new minimum deposit fee, according to the table below. If it differs from the last week’s one, we notify all users about the planned change. CryptoProcessing switches to the new minimum deposit fee at 10:00 UTC on Wednesday.
