You’ll need an active merchant account to start accepting crypto payments. If you don’t have one yet, please reach out to our Sales team at to set up your merchant account.

Step 1. Install the OpenCart plugin

  1. In your OpenCart admin panel, select Extensions > Installer on the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Click the Upload button in the top-right corner and upload the archive with the extension.

Step 2. Configure the plugin

To accept payments through CoinsPaid, you need to set up your API credentials. See Get your API Keys for more details.

  1. Once you activate your API keys, go to Merchants > Settings in your CoinsPaid dashboard and set up the callback URL. The callback URL should match the URL in your OpenCart plugin settings.

  2. In your OpenCart admin panel, select Extensions on the left-hand sidebar.

  3. Select Pay by Crypto and click the pencil icon to configure the plugin.

  4. Paste your secret key into the Private key field. Paste your API key into the Public key field.

  5. Set Status to Enabled, Environment to Production, Time restriction to Enabled and Debug logging to Disabled.

  6. Click Save changes in the top-right corner.
